The Moon

By Samaira Shergill

An orb of light in the midst of night,

Selenophile's endorphins, a massive delight!

Cameras cant capture the beauty of the celestial body,

Truly gorgeous in the sky almost seems godly.

The quiet glow, so serene and slow,

The moon above, a peaceful glow.

Igniting the stars beside.

A bridge of beam to the afterlife.

The moon holds stories older than time,

One giant leap forward for mankind.

The world fades into calm,

The moon remains, a wonderful charm.
