the feeling of falling upwards

her face is full of acne,

her are arms unwaxed.

cellulite and stretch marks

stain her body, like

an ugly spot of black paint

on an unblemished canvas.

she didn’t realise when

looking like a fragile hourglass

became the truth.

i’m trying to fit in.

no comfort,

how does she stand

tall?

more laughter.

like their bodies,

their minds are also thin.
