mannequins (I)

since birth we see those hollow,

robotic,

plastic structures

standing guard in front of our

favourite cloth outlets.

their bodies are slim and

silky white with

visible ab lines and a

perfectly circular belly button;

no extra rings,

no weird patches.

perfection.

these geometrically miraculous structures

have a lean and long body,

sans body acne or

permanent tan marks.

their thighs toned and

proud without any ridiculous

stretch marks or scars or

cellulite bringing them

down with shame.

perfection.
